Silvermed Corporation, which founded and managed Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center (MTCMC), partnered with Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc. (MGHI) in 2015, supporting its mission of providing better health access to Filipinos not just in Pampanga, but also in nearby provinces.
2016 Healthiest Hospital – Grand Winner in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga
The Local Government of San Fernando, through its City Health Office, awarded MTCMC as the grand winner for Healthiest Hospital category in December 2016.
Center for Excellence – Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth)
MTCMC was recognized as the “Center of Excellence” by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) for meeting the standards and core indicators set by the organization.
2017 Environmental Friendly Establishment – Champion in Hospital Category
MTCMC was recognized as the champion for the 2017 Environmental Friendly Establishment – Hospital Category, demonstrating the hospital’s commitment to environmental protection through waste reduction and pollution prevention for the preservation of the environment and the public’s health.
Operational Excellence Award from Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc. (MGHI) – Outstanding Financial Profitability (2018) & Outstanding Financial Processes Efficiency (2019)
MTCMC received the Operational Excellence Award from Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc. (MGHI) for two consecutive years. The hospital was first recognized for its Outstanding Financial Profitability in 2018, and was later awarded for Outstanding Financial Processes Efficiency in the year 2019, recognizing the hospital’s outstanding cost-effective and standardized financial processes.
New Cardio-Pulmo Unit
As part of its goal of providing centralized and holistic healthcare for patients’ needs, MTCMC opened its new cardiopulmonary unit that features state-of-the-art technology and improved facilities to allow better diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases.
Healthy Hospital award from San Fernando Health Office
Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center (MTCMC) was also recognized as the Healthy Hospital (2019) by the City Health Office of San Fernando, Pampanga on December 27, 2019 at Waltermart, San Agustin, San Fernando, Pampanga. It recognizes the hospital’s commitment to consistently establishing social and environmental awareness that aids in sustaining a healthy community. MTCMC was previously awarded as the 1st place winner in the same category for the year 2018.

Expanding expert care with the first Pedia Vision Center in Pampanga
The hospital expanded its services with the first Pedia Vision Center in Pampanga in 2020, where child patients can have their eyes examined for vision screening, strabismus, error refraction, congenital cataracts, and other ocular diseases in children at Room 303, Medical Arts Building, MTCMC.
Excellence Award for Financial Improvement
MTCMC received the Financial Improvement Excellence Award for “OPLAN45” virtually during the 19th Hospital Management Asia Awards on December 8, 2020.
Triple ISO Certified since 2014 (QMS, EMS, OSHAS)
MTCMC obtained International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications in 2012 including ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management Systems) and OSHAS 18001:2007 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) up to present after being re-certified in 2021.
MTCMC accredited as a COVID-19 Bakuna Center in 2021
In light of the ongoing pandemic, MTCMC was accredited to administer the COVID-19 vaccines in 2021, and is now a COVID-19 Bakuna Center.
Women’s Health Center with the First 3D Mammogram in Central Luzon (2021)
As part of its mission of touching more lives through expert care, MTCMC launched its Breast Care Center as a significant addition to its completion of Women’s Health Center. MTCMC aims to be the primary referral center for breast diseases in Central Luzon, so it was the first hospital to acquire a 3D Mammogram in the region.
Safety Seal Certified
MTCMC is the 1st hospital in the City of San Fernando to be Safety Seal Certified by the LGU. This affirms the continuous effort of the hospital for the proper implementation of the safety & health protocols against COVID-19.
Most Compliant in Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control for the year 2021
Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center (MTCMC) was awarded by CENRO San Fernando for its compliance with R.A. 6969 (Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control of 1990) in the 2021 Search for Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Business Establishments at Heroes Hall, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The hospital was recently recognized as the Healthiest Hospital in the city for its responsibility to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center (MTCMC) was rewarded by the Mount Grace, Inc. by the virtue of Outstanding Branded Content Program Award that was held on December 1, 2022 at Metro Tent Convention Center Pasig City, Metro Manila.
2022 Search and Sustainable Eco-Friendly Business Establishment
MTCMC was recognized as the Champion for the 2022 Search and Sustainable Eco-Friendly Business Establishment for the Hospital Category here in San Fernando, Pampanga. This Award was given by the City Government of San Fernando, Pampanga last December 15, 2022.
